Framlab is an award-winning studio for applied research and design based in Bergen and New York. Fueled by technology and optimism, we offer design and innovation consultancy services for a better future.

 

The studio was founded by Andreas Tjeldflaat to help drive system change in response to pressing social and environmental issues. With expertise across strategy, design, architecture, psychology, and data analysis, we are able to rigorously investigate and effectively respond to complex challenges, guided by our studio principles.

Fram means forward in Norwegian. It is also the name of explorer, Roald Amundsen’s ship -- the first to reach the South Pole. But we digress, it sums up our mission neatly: moving things forward.
